We are one week away from the Michigan Warrior Dash event!  The Warrior Dash was my first mud run ever and it is my one year anniversary running such events. I'm excited to run the course this year, although I'm certain it won't be nearly as interesting as some of the other courses I've ran this year.  However, I still have a soft spot with the Dash because it was my first. 

This year will mark a slightly different challenge for me--I'll run the event twice!  The first day I plan to run on my own, then on the second day, I'll run the event with my wife, K, and my nephew.  Although my nephew swore off running another event after last year, my wife convinced him to run with her and he's not happy. Look for a grumpy guy wearing a goofy outfit with a lack of a smile. 

In honor of the upcoming event, my focus will shift to finishing my write-up of last year's Warrior Dash so I can make a solid comparison between both events.
